Restaurant Equipment Services, LLC was founded in the mid-1930’s by the Gordy Family.  Times were tough during the “Great Depression”, but the opportunity arose for a man to run a forklift when there were few chances for work.  Mr. Gordy had no experience driving a forklift, but quickly volunteered to operate the forklift, thinking, how hard can it be?  Quickly, Mr. Gordy’s supervisor realized that he had never driven a forklift, and Mr. Gordy was then moved to the installation department. This move was the catalyst that led to the business we now know today as Restaurant Equipment Services, LLC.  After over 50 years of owning and operating RES, the Gordy family has sold the business, but remain involved, even today, to continue with the strong tradition of upholding the founding principles Restaurant Equipment Services, LLC stands on.  Our main focus consists of stainless steel foodservice equipment and buy-outs installation.  Today, our experienced installers travel the entire US to meet our customer’s needs of high quality, timely installations.
